My child,

The world can feel cold and dark at times.
So many people live without hope, without love —
wandering in fear or brokenness.

But do you know what I do?
I send you.

You are My light.
Not because you shine on your own,
but because I live in you.

You don’t have to shout loudly.
You don’t have to be important.
You don’t have to be perfect.

What I ask of you is simple:
Be available.
Be gentle.
Be real.
And let My love shine through you.

 A smile can save someone.
A listening ear can bring comfort.
 A silent prayer can move heaven.

Every time you choose to love instead of hate,
to forgive instead of seek revenge,
to bring peace instead of division,
you become a flame in the darkness.

The world doesn’t need more judgment.
It is thirsty for light.
For hope.
For truth wrapped in grace.
And that’s why I made you.

Don’t be discouraged if you feel like your light is small.
Even the smallest candle
drives out the deepest darkness.

Shall we pray together?

Father, make me a carrier of Your light.
Let Your love flow through me.
Give me courage
to bring Your light where it’s dark.
Give me eyes to see who You place in my path,
and a heart that always chooses love.

Divine Source of Illumination,
Fill us with the awareness of being Your light in this world.
