"Even though I walk through the valley of deep darkness, I will fear no evil, for You are with me."
– Psalm 23:4
My child,
There are moments when life feels dark.
When your heart is heavy.
When you don’t know how to make it through another day.
Sometimes it seems like the light in the world has gone out.
As if I am silent. Far away.
But in those very moments, I want to tell you this:
I am the Light — and I have never stopped shining.
Even when you don’t see Me.
Even when you don’t feel Me.
Even when everything feels cold and empty.
I am there.
You know what makes light so powerful?
Even the smallest bit of it drives out darkness.
You don’t need to speak great words.
You don’t need to have perfect faith.
You only need to whisper:
“Father, help me.”
And I am there.
In your deepest night, I am your dawn.
In your chaos, I am your peace.
In your tears, I am your comfort.
Let Me open your eyes —
not just to what is dark,
but to what still lives:
Every breath is a sign of hope.
Every new day is a promise.
And every time you keep getting back up,
My light proves stronger than the darkness surrounding you.
You don’t have to carry it all alone.
Let My light in.
Not something you have to create,
but something I want to ignite within you.
And once My light is burning in you,
you’ll also be a light for others —
even if you still feel fragile.
Because guess what?
A broken candle can still shine.
Shall we pray together?
Heavenly Father, sometimes I feel lost in the dark.
But I choose to fix my eyes on Your light.
Be my guide, my hope, my strength.
Let Your light shine in my heart and through me.
Amen.
