Dear child,
Fasting is not a religious duty.
It is a secret meeting between your heart and Mine.
When you fast, you withdraw from the noise of the world
to seek Me more deeply.
Not to manipulate Me,
but to open yourself.

"But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting,
but only to your Father, who is unseen;
and your Father, who sees what is done in secret,
will reward you."
(Matthew 6:17-18)

Child,
fasting without love is worth nothing.
But fasting in surrender
is like incense before My throne.
It brings clarity.
It breaks spiritual blockages.
It strengthens your spirit to hear My voice.

Let your heart be pure.
Not to get something,
but to experience Me more closely.
For I desire you
more than your offerings.

Prayer:
“Father, I want to fast to seek You,
not to impress anyone.
Purify my motives.
Make my heart receptive.
Let my hunger for You
be deeper than my desire for food.
Amen.”
